AL-KHALIL, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) expelled Palestinian farmers and shepherds from Um Khawas areas to east of Yatta town, south of Al-Khalil, on Saturday afternoon.

Local sources said that the soldiers assaulted the farmers and shepherds and pointed guns at them and forced them out of the land after quarrels.

The sources noted that foreign peace activists intervened to prevent the soldiers from arresting a number of farmers.

They said that the soldiers threatened to fire live bullets at the farmers and ordered them out of the area at the pretext that it was “state land”.
