JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli courts on Sunday extended the detention of five Palestinians from Jerusalem, a local activist group said.

Judges extended the detention of Majd Darwish and Mohammad Darwish, who are accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at the Hebrew University, the Wadi al-Hilweh information center said.

Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud told the center that Israeli judges extended the detention of three other Palestinian youths until Thursday,

Meanwhile, 15-year-old Mohammad Obeid was released on bail of 1,000 shekels ($274) and put under house arrest for 20 days. He was charged with throwing rocks.
