BETHLEHEM, March 5, 2013 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Bat Ayin, west of Bethlehem, Tuesday cut 60 Olive trees that belong to a Palestinian farmer, said witnesses.
The land’s owner, Taha Fannoun said “the settlers are constantly ravaging land that belongs to Palestinians,” following the discovery of 60 cut Olive tree in his land.
He called on right groups to support him in his and every farmer’s battle with the settlers.
Deputy Head of Nahhalin village council Jamal Najajra said that not only the settlers uproot and cut trees, but they also pump waste water into agricultural land damaging the crops and endangering the lives of farmers by catching diseases.
