Description
HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces on Friday afternoon prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their agricultural lands in Susiya village east of Yatta in the southern West Bank.
A resident of Susiya, Fuad al-Shamisti told Ma’an in Hebron that soldiers detained Fadi and Shadi Shamisti as they tried to reach their fields. The two were given warrants to meet Civil Administration officers next week.
Soldiers then declared the area a closed military zone and forced residents and farmers to go back home, according to al-Shamisti.
