OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (PIC) 20 July -- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested a Jerusalemite teenager in Silwan town south of the Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday evening after clashes erupted between the inhabitants and IOF troops. Tensions ran high in Bir Ayub suburb in Silwan after the IOF soldiers installed a roadblock in the suburb and started searching cars and checking IDs. Eyewitnesses said that the teen Maher Sarhan was passing by in the neighborhood and did not take part in the clashes, adding that the soldiers detained him after failing to arrest any of the stone throwing youths. They said that soldiers used rubber bullets while young men threw stones at them.
