TULKAREM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces on Wednesday detained seven Palestinians in Nablus and Tulkarem after military vehicles crossed into to area, locals reported.
They said soldiers abducted five people from the Nablus area, and they were identified as Mahdi Salah Khouri, Adel Bashar al-Zarya, Ezz al-Din Mansour, Mohammad Khefo, and Mutaz Shbarou.
All of the detainees are affiliated to Fatah.
Earlier, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from Tulkarem.
Witness told Ma’an that four military vehicles crossed into the southern area of Tulkarem and surrounded a student residence. They also inspected the building and questioned residents.
The two detainees from Tulkarem are Mohamad Khaliefa and Odai Stayteh of Jenin.
Later Wednesday an army spokeswoman said eight people were detained in Nablus.
