Israeli occupation forces conducted coordinated invasions across multiple area of the occupied West Bank early Wednesday, abducting at least 26 Palestinians, including one woman, imposing widespread movement restrictions, and demolishing agricultural structures near Jerusalem.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, troops stormed several neighborhoods, including Khallet al-Amoud, Ta’awon, Street 24, and al-Ein refugee camp, abducting five residents: Masoud al-‘Akka, Ameed Boseila, Tamer Sa’ad, Mohammad Abu Ryala, and Karam al-Najmi.
The army also invaded the nearby village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, where they abducted two young men, Karim Khaled Salah and Ahmad Haroun Hajji, after invading and searching their family homes.
In Qalqilia, in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the city from the southern approach and deployed across several neighborhoods.
Troops searched vehicles, obstructed civilian movement, and reportedly fired live ammunition at residents and passing cars. They also stormed the home of Adel Sobeh, vandalizing its contents and causing extensive damage.
In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Ghreifi from his home in Ektaba suburb, and Awab Ghreifi from his home in Anabta town. The families of the two abductees were previously displaced from Nour Shams refugee camp due to the ongoing Israeli military offensive and massive destruction.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, six Palestinians were abducted from the town of Qabatia, south of the city.
The detainees were identified as ‘Odai Amin Lutfi Abu ar-Rub, Mohammad Adel Abu Mu’alla, Watan Saba‘na, Mohammad Ali Zakarna, Mohammad Aysar Amin Zakarna, and Sa’id Yasser Zakarna.
In Ramallah, central West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Hadiya al-Asmar, a woman in her fifties from the town of Beit Rima, to pressure her son into surrendering. Her husband, Mahmoud Saud al-Khatib, had been abducted several days earlier.
Also in Ramallah, the soldiers installed an iron gate at the main entrance to Rawabi city, north of the city. About 1000 similar gates and barriers are currently closing streets and intersections across the occupied West Bank.
In Salfit, also in central West Bank, the army assaulted a Palestinian in his home in the village of Marda, north of Salfit.
The soldiers stormed the home of Nader Abu Bakr, the secretary of the Fatah movement in the village, and subjected him to a severe beating, causing various wounds before local medics rushed him to Salfit Government Hospital. Soldiers also ransacked the house, damaging its contents.
The family reported that Israeli forces confined all household members to a single room and conducted a field interrogation with Abu Bakr that lasted several hours, in addition to confiscating 300 shekels and a gold bracelet from the property.
In a related incident, Israeli forces abducted freed prisoner Majdi Rateb al-Deek and his 16-year-old son Qusai after storming and ransacking their home in the town of Kafr al-Deek, west of Salfit.
In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, eight Palestinians were abducted in separate invasions across the governorate.
From Hebron city: Saleh Mamdouh D’eis, Sohaib Ma’moun Sharbati, Abdul-Rahman Mofeed Sharbati, Mahmoud Atiya Misk, and Ja‘far Abu ‘Aisha.
Additional abductions included Ali Fadl Abu ‘Arram from Yatta, Saud Abu Yousef from Halhoul, and Mazen Madi from al-Arroub refugee camp, all located south or north of Hebron.
Israeli forces also erected multiple military roadblocks at the entrances to Hebron’s towns, villages, and refugee camps, sealing off key roads with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
Separately, troops demolished several agricultural structures in the town of Jaba’, northeast of occupied Jerusalem. An Israeli military bulldozer tore down sheep pens and other farming facilities in the al-‘Ara’ra area of the town.
The targeted structures were used for livestock and agriculture, and their destruction is part of a broader pattern of demolitions in Palestinian rural areas.
