Israeli occupation forces abducted ten Palestinians in the early hours of Monday during various invasions across the occupied West Bank, targeting residential areas and disrupting civilian life. The abductions followed home invasions, violent searches, and the closure of many streets and intersections.
In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli troops invaded the eastern district and abducted three individuals: Ibrahim Sultan and Mahmoud Imad Abu Leila from Askar al-Jadeed refugee camp, and Saeed Qar’an from Balata refugee camp.
In Hebron Governorate, in the southern West Bank, seven Palestinians were abducted after Israeli forces stormed homes, ransacked property, and installed military roadblocks.
Those abducted have been identified as Mohammad Emad Hamdan and Emad Jamal Abu Subha from Yatta, Qais Shalalda from Sa’ir, brothers Wasim and Mohammad Ibrahim Mohammad Bahar from Beit Ummar, Musab Majd Ghaith from Hebron city, and Mohammad Ziad Sawalha from Bani Na’im.
Military roadblocks were simultaneously installed at key junctions across Hebron and its surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps. Several main and secondary roads were sealed off using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, severely restricting movement.
In Bethlehem Governorate, Israeli forces invaded multiple eastern towns including al-Obeidiyya, Harmala, Ruweida, and Za’tara. Though no abductions were reported, troops stormed homes belonging to the Ali family in the Rakhma area and vandalized a factory in the industrial zone.
Also in Bethlehem, the army seized a mobile home (caravan) on Monday during a military invasion of the town of al-Khader, located south of the city.
Local activist Mahmoud Abdullah reported that Israeli troops stormed the Um Rukba area of al-Khader and confiscated the caravan, which belongs to Palestinian resident Abdullah Salah.
The seizure occurred without prior notice and is part of a broader pattern of property confiscations land control measures frequently carried out by Israeli forces in the southern West Bank.
In occupied East Jerusalem, Israeli forces obstructed school transportation vehicles and students in Shu’fat refugee camp, north of the city.
Local sources confirmed that several buses carrying students were blocked from exiting the refugee camp, leaving dozens of children detained near the military roadblock at the entrance.
Furthermore, Israeli occupation forces installed a new iron gate on Monday morning at the entrance to the town of Mukhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, intensifying movement restrictions in the area.
Local sources report that this installation is part of a broader pattern of increased military control, with Israeli forces erecting additional iron gates at the entrances of villages and towns surrounding Jerusalem in recent days.
Further disruption was reported in the Jordan Valley, where Israeli forces impeded the movement of teachers attempting to reach schools via the Hamra and Tayasir military roadblocks.
Azmi Balawna, Director of Education in Tubas and Northern Jordan Valley, stated that dozens of educators had been stranded since 6 a.m., while students in Bedouin communities waited in vain for school buses unable to pass through the closures.
The education sector in the Jordan Valley continues to face severe challenges due to intensified military restrictions and roadblock closures.
The Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission stated that the number of Israeli military roadblocks and iron gates across the West Bank has reached 898, including 18 newly installed gates since the start of 2025 and 146 added after October 7, 2023.
Meanwhile, in Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, a 27-year-old Palestinian man was shot in the leg by Israeli forces near the western entrance of the refugee camp, marking the second such injury at the same location within 24 hours. The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed its teams provided emergency treatment on site before moving him to a hospital.
The Israeli military offensive in Tulkarem and its refugee camps (Tulkarem and Nur Shams) has persisted for 231 consecutive days, involving daily invasions, a tightened siege, and live fire used to prevent residents from accessing their homes.
In addition, several Israeli military vehicles, stationed at the Tayasir military roadblock, invaded Tubas city in the northeastern West Bank.
Furthermore, several military vehicles invaded Sateh Marhaba neighborhood in Al-Bireh city in the central West Bank and closed several streets.
It is worth mentioning that, on Sunday, the army announced it would be conducting live-fire drills and maneuvers in various parts of the occupied West Bank, starting early in the morning until the afternoon on Monday.
On Saturday evening, a seriously wounded Palestinian young man, Mohammad Issa Alawi, 20, died of his injuries suffered a day earlier after he was shot by illegal Israeli colonizers in the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
