As the Israeli army imposes a full siege on the West Bank, Palestinian patients now need two ambulances—one to take them to the gate of their city or village, and another to pick them up from the other side and transport them to the hospital.

Patients are literally being sneaked under locked gates on hospital beds just to access medical care. This is not security—this is systematic cruelty.

And to those who say, “But it’s war, Israelis are under lockdown too”—you will never see an Israeli patient forced to crawl under a gate on a hospital bed.

There’s a profound difference between being told, “Please stay safe in a shelter,” and being locked behind gates and denied access even to a hospital.
