On Monday, marking the 21st day since the Israeli army resumed its devastating offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including children and women.
The army targeted tents used by Palestinian journalists near Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing journalist Hilmi Al-Faq’awi and severely wounding another journalist, Ahmad Mansour, who suffered extensive burns. The number of slain Palestinian journalists since October 7, 2023 is now 210.
The attack also injured Yousef Al-Khazandar and several other journalists, including Hasan Eslieh, Ahmad Al-Agha, Mohammad Fayeq, Abdullah Al-‘Attar, Ehab Al-Bardini, and Mahmoud Awad. Notably, Eslieh sustained severe burns.
In another airstrike, nine Palestinians were killed and 28 injured when the army targeted a home belonging to the Naffar family in central Khan Younis.
The Israeli army also continued its demolition of Palestinian homes between Khan Younis and Rafah in southern Gaza.
In central Gaza, the army targeted tents sheltering displaced families in the yard of Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah and launched missiles at homes in various parts of the city.
Eight Palestinians were killed, including two in a bombarded home in Al-Bassa and six—five women and one child—in a home belonging to the Abu Issa family. Three others were killed in an area east of Deir Al-Balah. These attacks left dozens injured, including many children and women.
In Gaza City, the army shelled displaced Palestinians in the Tuffah neighborhood, killing 11 people, including nine children, and injuring many others.
The army also expanded its bombing campaign in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, particularly in its western areas.
Further north, at least four Palestinians were killed and many injured when the army fired artillery shells near Zawaida Street, east of Jabalia.
The Health Ministry reported that 26 Palestinians were killed and 113 injured, including many children and women, with numerous victims still trapped under the rubble.
Over the last 24 hours, 57 slain Palestinians and 137 wounded were moved to hospitals across the Gaza Strip, while many remain under the rubble.
Since the resumption of the genocide on March 18, 2025, Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 1,391 Palestinians and injured over 3,434.
This year alone, the Israeli army has killed at least 2,575 Palestinians, including 536 women, 548 children, and 113 elderly individuals. Among the identified victims, 527 were children, 317 were women, 111 were elderly, and 15 were journalists.
The report also provides a regional breakdown of casualties: 694 Palestinians were killed in Gaza governorate, 429 in northern Gaza, 347 in Deir Al-Balah (central Gaza), 233 in Rafah, and 198 in Khan Younis.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed at least 50,752 Palestinians, including over 15,617 children, 9,803 women, 232 journalists, and 23 medics. The number of wounded Palestinians has exceeded 115,475, predominantly children, women, and the elderly, across the Gaza Strip.
