Brigadier General Abdul Latif Abu Amsha, the Director of Civil Defense, told the WAFA News Agency that its rescue crews were alerted to the sounds of screams under the rubble of a house in the Al-Damj neighborhood, before they were able to rescue a woman and her three children.

In a statement, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the situation in the Jenin refugee camp “is heading towards a catastrophic direction,” adding that according to its reports, “all the camp’s residents had left by this morning.”
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued for the ninth consecutive day, their offensive against the city of Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp, in the northwestern part of the West Bank.

Media sources said that the army continued to invade and ransack citizens’ homes and force their residents to leave, occupying a number of them to use as military points.

In the Iktaba suburb, east of Tulkarem city, Israeli forces besieged the Al-Huji family home, and demanded over loudspeakers for the family to come out, subjecting them to interrogation, while invading nearby homes and positioning snipers on their rooftops.

According to Abdullah Kamil, the Governor of Tulkarem, more than 75% of the Tulkarem refugee camp has been forcibly displaced by the occupation army.

In related news, the army invaded the town of Qaffin, north of Tulkarem, while soldiers spread through the streets randomly opening fire with live rounds.
