On Monday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes in Jericho, Salfit, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Jenin, and Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, interrogated scores of residents and abducted at least twenty-five Palestinians, including siblings, in addition to 25 Palestinians who were abducted in Bethlehem.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, Jamal Khalil Barahma, 20, after stopping him at a military roadblock on one of the main entrances of the city.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted at least one Palestinian from his home, and invaded nearby Qarawat Bani Hassan village, leading to protests.
In Ramallah, in the central West bank, the soldiers invaded Kafr Malek village, east of the city, broke into and ransacked several homes and abducted former political prisoner, Fadi Qais B’eirat, in addition to Aktham and his brother Wasim Nabil Mubarak, and Mahmoud Farouq Mubarak.
It is worth mentioning that the soldiers took Mahmoud Mubarak into custody when they couldn’t locate his brother, Abdul-Fattah. They decided to hold Mahmoud hostage to compel Abdul-Fattah to surrender to the army.
In the occupied capital, Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted six Palestinians from their homes in the Old City.
The abducted Palestinians are Yousef Al-Hazeena, Adnan Shalloudi, Sa’ad Norein, Ahmad Al-Hawwash, Mohammad Bader, and Majed Resheq.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the army invaded and ransacked more than twenty homes, abducted ten Palestinians, and detained and interrogated at least seventeen people from the towns of Jaba’ and Ya’bad, south of the city. Eight of the abducted Palestinians were taken from their homes in Jaba’ town, and two from their homes in Ya’bad.
The invasion of Jenin commenced when undercover soldiers infiltrated the city and the outskirts of the Jenin refugee camp. Subsequently, many military vehicles invaded the city and its surrounding areas from multiple directions.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Omar Antar from his home on Street 10, and Zoheir Dweikat from his home in Balata town.
Also at dawn, the soldiers abducted at twenty-five Palestinians from their homes in Bethlehem governorate, south of occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.
On Sunday evening, the soldiers shot two Palestinian children with live fire after the army invaded Beit Furik town, east of Nablus, leading to protests.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot a 15-year-old child with a live round in the leg and added that another child suffered bullet fragment wounds to the back.
