On Friday, Israeli soldiers abducted seven Palestinians, including a young woman, and detained two in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources said the soldiers installed a sudden military roadblock near Ein Siniya village, north of Ramallah, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards before abducting a young man.
They added that the soldiers forced a young man, Wasim Ahmad Rimawi, 22, from Beit Rima town northwest of Ramallah, out of a car and repeatedly assaulted him before abducting him.
The soldiers also abducted Hamza Hammad and Mohammad Abu Jarada from the Al-Am’ari refugee camp south of Ramallah while crossing a military roadblock northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Urif village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and surrounded a home before abducting Khaled Al-Aker.
Also in Nablus, the army abducted a young woman, whose name remained unknown, while crossing a military roadblock at the entrance of Burin village, south of the city.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Moayyad Al-Ghoul, 22, from the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin while crossing a military roadblock near Ramallah.
The soldiers also detained two young men, Yousef Mer’ey from Kafr Dan and Islam Thiab from Kafr Ra’ey, near Jenin, after stopping them at the Al-Jalama military roadblock northeast of Jenin but released them later.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Tareq Eyad Abdul-Razeq, 22, from Tubas in the northeastern West Bank while returning home from Jordan.
