Israeli soldiers attacked, Saturday, a nonviolent protest against the Annexation Wall and settlements, in Yatta town, south of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and kidnapped five residents.

Rateb Al-Jabour, coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlement in Yatta, reported that soldiers and a number of armed settlers attacked the local and international nonviolent protesters in Al-Kharrouba area, in Yatta.

The residents were also protesting the illegal Israeli restrictions that prevent the farmers and the shepherds from entering their lands in the area.

Al-Jabour added that soldiers and settlers punched and kicked the protesters and kidnapped five who were later identified as Fadel Hamamda, 45, Hussein Mahmoud Hamamda, 18, Mahmoud Hussein Hamamda, 45, Moath Hamamda, 20, and Na’im Salem Al-‘Adra, 44.

Israeli soldiers continuously use excessive force against nonviolent protests held against the Wall and settlements in different parts of the West Bank, an issue that led to dozens of casualties, including several fatalities.
