On Tuesday, July 16th, day 284 of the ongoing Israeli assault on the entire civilian population of the Gaza Strip. At least 50 Palestinians were killed, and many more wounded.

The Israeli army committed a new massacre by bombing a school housing displaced people in the Nusseirat camp, which resulted in the death of 23 Palestinians and the injury of more than 70.

In addition, 17 citizens were killed, and 26 others were injured in an occupation raid that targeted the Al-Attar area, which is crowded with displaced people, west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

A girl was shot by the Israeli soldiers while she was in the yard of a school sheltering displaced people east of the camp.

In addition, the Israeli army’s’ artillery also shelled areas west of the camp, resulting in several injuries.

Seven civilians were killed, and others were injured when the Israeli occupation forces bombed the Diab family’s house in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip.

A civilian was killed when an Israeli occupation drone bombed the entrance to the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip.

According to the Middle East Eye, Muhammad Abdullah Mishmish, the program director at Sawt al-Aqsa Radio, has been reported dead by Gaza’s Government Media Office, as Israel’s onslaught on the besieged Strip continues. Mishmish is now the 160th journalist to have lost their life in Israel’s war on Gaza

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said at least 539 displaced Palestinians have been killed in its facilities in Gaza since 7 October

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered a halt to the recording of security consultations and cabinet discussions held in the underground operations center of military headquarters, according to Haaretz.

On Tuesday, July 16th, day 284 of the ongoing Israeli assault on the entire civilian population of the Gaza Strip, in the early hours before dawn, an Israeli strike on a home in Nuseirat killed 11 people, including five children.

According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, in Khan Yunis, paramedics recovered 4 deceased civilians and 3 wounded from a house belonging to the Abu Teir family after it was targeted by an airstrike launched by Israeli occupation aircraft in the town of Abasan, east of the city. They were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex. The Israeli occupation artillery also fired shells towards the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of the city.

In Rafah city, Tuesday morning, 4 civilians were killed in the Khirbet Al-Adas area in Rafah city. The bodies arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

Local residents in the Rafah area reported that the Israeli occupation army also blew up residential blocks west of Rafah.

In Gaza City, ambulance crews recovered a body, and a number of wounded after an Israeli warplane targeted a house belonging to the Zaqouq family in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, and another body of a deceased Palestinian, as well as two injured, after the targeting a residential apartment in Al-Nafaq Street in the city.

The eastern area of ​​Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, was subjected to shelling by the Israeli occupation artillery, while the occupation military vehicles opened fire on the Al-Maghraqa area, north of the Al-Nuseirat camp, in the central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Turkey has condemned Israel’s attack on Gaza’s Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital and said those responsible will face “justice in international courts”.

In addition, a spokesperson for the United Nations Refugee and Works Agency (UNRWA) reported that the past week was “one of the deadliest” in Gaza since the war began. The spokesperson also criticized the Isralei military’s destruction of the agency’s headquarters in Gaza City.
