Israeli forces demolished, on Tuesday, two under-construction homes, one inhabited home, in the southern West Bank governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron, in addition to uprooting dozens of olive trees, and razing land in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces demolished three Palestinian-owned homes in the southern West Bank governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron, and uprooted trees near Jenin in the northern West Bank.
Occupation forces demolished an under-construction home in the village of Marah Mualla, south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank.
According to Khaled Abu Shakra, the head of the Marah Mualla Village Council, said that Israeli soldiers demolished an under-construction home belonging to the citizen, Samir Muhammad Abu Shakra, with an area of 400 square meters.
Meanwhile, southwest of Bethlehem, occupation forces demolished an under-construction home in the village of Jurat ash-Sham’a.
According to the head of the Jurat ash-Sham’a Village Council, soldiers demolished a home owned by the citizen, Zuhair Faisal Mohammad Hussein, between the villages of Marah Mualla and Jurat ash-Sham’a.
Furthermore, the army demolished a Palestinian-owned home, west of Hebron in the southern West Bank, which measured an area of 200 square meters.
According to Youssef Abdel-Jawad Abu Aisha, soldiers invaded the area and proceeded to demolish the three-storey home of his brother, Tamer, which was inhabited by ten citizens, in addition to a water well.
Abu Aisha added that Tamer has proof of ownership and stated that the construction of the home was licensed by the Municipality of Hebron.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces uprooted dozens of olive trees and razed Palestinian-owned lands near the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin.
According to Majdi Zaid, the head of the Umm al-Rihan Village Council, bulldozers destroyed sixty olive trees and razed lands owned by the citizen, Rawhi Kamel Zaid.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, in a statement, that Israeli forces have demolished 66 structures, including 35 inhabited homes, 5 uninhabited homes, and 15 agricultural facilities, in the occupied West Bank, in May 2024.
