On Monday morning, many illegal Israeli colonizers, protected by the occupation police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli police forcibly removed Palestinian worshipers near the Al-Qibli prayer hall and the courtyard of the Dome of the Rock.

Before the dawn prayer, occupation police imposed restrictions on worshipers trying to enter the Al-Aqsa compound, and searched several citizens.

In the morning, when the colonizers stormed the compound, media sources said that the majority of Muslim worshipers were denied entry.

Meanwhile, occupation police and settlers attacked Palestinian Muslim worshipers, on Monday night, when they were exiting the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, after the nightly (Taraweeh) prayers, held during the month of Ramadan.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli police and settlers assaulted Palestinians in the vicinity of the Bab al-Khalil (Hebron Gate), one of the main gates leading to the Old City of Jerusalem.

It was added that Israeli police also abducted two Palestinian young men in the area.

Furthermore, on Monday evening, Israeli colonizers, protected by the occupation forces, attacked shop owners, invaded and ransacked their shops near the Bab al-Amoud (Damascus Gate) in the Old City.

A Palestinian child suffered injuries, on Monday afternoon, after an illegal Israeli settler struck him with his vehicle in the village of Kisan, east of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem.

According to Musa Abayat, the head of the Kisan Village Council, an Israeli colonizer struck the child, Muhammad Sami Odeh Ghazal, 13, while he was riding his bicycle.

The child sustained various injuries and subsequently transported to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital for treatment.

Moreover, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, a group of colonizers attacked Palestinian-owned homes in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood, in the center of the city.

Media sources said that the settlers hurled rocks at citizens’ homes, while occupation forces provided them full protection.

North of the city, a group of settlers gathered on the road between Beit Ummar and Halhul, Palestine TV reported.
