On Thursday, Day 111 of the ongoing Israeli onslaught and destruction of the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians and injured hundreds, largely women and children, in several parts of the coastal enclave.

In the Zawaida area in central Gaza, Israeli missiles killed three Palestinians, including a child, in their homes.

Israeli missiles also killed more than six Palestinians and wounded many in a home west of the Nusseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

In the Al-Boreij refugee camp in central Gaza, Israeli missiles struck homes, killing at least two Palestinians and injuring dozens.

Furthermore, the army continued the extensive bombing and shelling of various parts of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, including Nasser Medical Center, where artillery shells struck buildings in the facility and its yards.

Israeli missiles killed four Palestinians and injured at least twenty after striking a school where dozens of families sheltered in Khan Younis, in addition to killing three Palestinians, including two children, in a home northwest of the city.

Al-Jazeera reported that “Khan Younis has been under sustained Israeli bombardment, and the Israeli military has given evacuation orders to large areas of the city, forcefully displacing hundreds of thousands of people.”

Al-Jazeera added that dozens of thousands of Palestinians continue to flee Khan Younis, looking for relative safety while trying to reach the Rafah Border Terminal with Egypt.

In addition, Israeli artillery shells killed twenty Palestinians and injured 150 at the Kuwaiti Junction on the Salahuddin Road in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. The Palestinians were waiting for aid trucks coming from Egypt through the Rafah terminal in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Also, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) called for urgent action to avoid the total collapse of the medical system in Gaza amidst ongoing Israeli attacks on medical facilities. There are two remaining partly functional hospitals in Khan Younis.

Al-Jazeera said that the army demolished hundreds of buildings near the perimeter fence with Gaza to create what it called a “buffer zone.”

Earlier Thursday, the Israeli army continued the bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, especially Khan Younis and Rafah, causing dozens of casualties. The army also abducted dozens in Khan Younis.

In a reported, Al-Jazeera quoted Israeli TV Channel 12 stating that the United States sent dozens of 25 F15 and 25 F35 fighter jets, in addition to twelve Apache military helicopters. Channel 12 provided details about the deal and the military supplies, but after the report was released, the Pentagon said it “didn’t see the Israeli reports or their details.”

Last December, the United States sent thousands of missiles, shells, armored vehicles and combat gear to the Israeli army.

Israeli missiles, shells, and bullets have killed at least 25.700 Palestinians and injured more than 63.740, mostly women and children, in addition to the massive destruction and devastation across the coastal enclave and the resulting famine and diseases, especially after the collapse of the healthcare system and the destruction of hospitals and medical centers after being invaded and bombed.

There are more than 8.000 missing Palestinians, largely killed and buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings and on the streets of various areas, as medics and rescue teams remain unable to reach them due to ongoing bombing and siege of targeted areas.

It is worth mentioning that the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has reported that the number of slain Palestinians is 33.360, including 13.022 children, 7.160 women, and 117 journalists.

Among the slain Palestinians are 305 healthcare professionals and medics, and 370 injured, in addition to 41 slain Civil Defense workers and 131 injured.

Euro-Med added that Israel’s attacks displaced 2.000.000 Palestinians and destroyed 75.600 homes, partially damaged 196.700 homes, destroyed or damaged 169 media facilities, 328 schools, 223 healthcare facilities, 199 heritage sites, 3 churches, and 376 mosques.

In the West Bank, the Israeli army has killed 370 Palestinians, including 99 children, and injured hundreds since October 7, 2023.
