During a wide-scale search campaign, Israeli forces shot, on Monday, a Palestinian photojournalist in the village of Jifna, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces shot the Palestinian photojournalist, Ramez Awad in the side with live ammunition, on Monday afternoon, during a massive search campaign in the Ramallah governorate.
The village of Jifna and many other towns and villages in the area were subject to an Israeli military invasion, leading to the obstruction of movement by Palestinian citizens.
The entrances to many towns and villages in the Ramallah governorate were closed by the army, obstructing the movement of Palestinian citizens.
North of the city, soldiers closed the entrances to Atara village, Rawabi town, and Birzeit town.
The army stormed Rawabi town and Ein Sinya village, north of the city, and seized surveillance camera recordings.

Soldiers erected a military roadblock between Umm Safa village and Nabi Saleh village, near the illegal “Halamish” colony, and another roadblock near Ein Qiniya village, northwest of Ramallah.
All theses measures were carried out under the pretext of searching for the perpetrator of the shooting near the “Ataret” colony earlier in the day.
