On Thursday, Israeli soldiers killed two young Palestinian men near Atouf village in the northern Jordan Valley and Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the soldiers killed Karem Khaled Bani Odah, 25, from Tammoun town, south of Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank.

The Health Ministry added that the soldiers shot and seriously injured the young man and prevented Palestinian medics from approaching him before he succumbed to his wounds.

The Israeli army claimed the young man “attempted to ram soldiers with his car, mildly wounding two” and refused to allow the transfer of his corpse to the Palestinians.

Eyewitnesses said the incident was a traffic accident, and his relatives said he got married just three months ago.

Furthermore, the soldiers closed the military roadblocks of Tayasir and Al-Hamra near the area where they killed the young man.

Also on Thursday, the soldiers killed Fadi Moayyad Badran, 21, from Beit Ur al-Tahta, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, after the army attacked Palestinians in front of the Ofer Israeli military prison in Betunia town, west of Ramallah.

The soldiers fatally shot Badran and injured four young men with live rounds in the arms and the legs, while two young men were injured after falling as the army chased them.

The army attacked the Palestinians who gathered in the town and in front of Ofer prison to celebrate the release of Palestinian detainees.

Also Thursday, the soldiers killed Morad, 38, and his brother, Ibrahim Nimir, 30, from Sur Baher south of occupied Jerusalem, allegedly after carrying out a shooting attack in Jerusalem, killing three Israelis.
