On Saturday dawn and late Friday night, Israeli soldiers abducted at least eighteen Palestinians and injured many others, including at least three with live fire, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted three children, Bilal Ayesh Thawabta, 16, Ahmad Luay Thawabta, 16, and Ali Jihad Thawabta, 16, after storming their families’ homes and ransacking them.
In The Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, the soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes before abducting two young men, Luay Johair and Abed Al-Ghazzawi.
The soldiers also stopped and searched many cars at the entrance of the refugee camp and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In addition, the soldiers invaded many neighborhoods in the cities of Ramallah and Al-Biereh.
In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers shot a young man with live fire in the arm during protests that occurred after several army vehicles invaded the Shweika suburb north of the city.
The soldiers also invaded and searched several homes and abducted a young man, Ahmad Nasser Obeid.
In Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, the soldiers invaded Yatta town, south of the city, searched and ransacked many homes and abducted Hammad Shreiteh, Mohammad Shreiteh (Hammad’s grandson), and assaulted Hammad’s sons, Fadel and Yousef, causing various wounds.
The soldiers also invaded another home for the extended Shreiteh family and fired live rounds at Ali Mohammad Shreiteh, wounding him with two live rounds in the liver and the leg, before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Ethna town, west of Hebron, and ransacked several homes before abducting Ismael At-Tmeiza, Hasan Ziad Awwad, Salah Awwad, Mo’awiya Khalil Awwad, Fadi Ayed Abu Jheisha, Mahmoud Abu Jheisha and Yousef Awawda.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud Saudi from his home in the Al-Makhfiyya area in the city.
The soldiers also invaded several neighborhoods in the city, leading to protests, and fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.
Also, the soldiers abducted a young man, Ramzi Haj Mohammad, near Awarta military roadblock, south of Nablus, and closed the streets leading to the Teachers Housing Project near Zawata town, northwest of the city.
In addition, the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes in Beita, Qusra, and Odala and assaulted one Palestinian near Odala’s main junction.
Furthermore, several army jeeps invaded Kufur Qaddoum town, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern West Bank, and attacked a nonviolent procession against the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza and the escalation in the West Bank.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Al-Isawiya and Anata towns before storming and ransacking homes.
The Wadi Hilweh Informational Center In Silwan (Silwanic) said the army used sharpshooters during its invasion of Al-Isawiya and assaulted a young man at the town’s main entrance.
On Friday evening, the soldiers shot a young man in Qaffin town, north of Tulkarem in the West Bank’s northwestern part, and caused dozens to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation after many Palestinians protested the invasion and the breaking into homes.
The soldiers also invaded many neighborhoods in the town and occupied the rooftops of several homes and buildings to use as monitoring towers and firing posts.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Tuqu’ town, southeast of Bethlehem, and abducted a child, Mohammad Samer Al-Badan, 15.
Also, the soldiers invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, leading to protests, and shot a young man with live fire in the leg.
The soldiers also invaded Sielet Al-Harithiya town, west of Jenin, leading to protests, and fired a barrage of live fire, including many bullets at a car belonging to Mustafa Shalabi, causing serious damage.
The soldiers installed roadblocks and closed junctions around the villages and towns of Rommana, Zabbouba, Ta’nak, Al-Yamoun, and Kafr Dan, west of Jenin.
