On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man and injured two others, one seriously, in Sa’ir town, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.
A large military force invaded the town, leading to massive protests before the soldiers fired a barrage of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Medical sources at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron said the soldiers fatally shot Sa’ad Nimir Al-Froukh, 24.
They added that the soldiers also shot two young men, including one who suffered a serious gunshot wound to the abdomen, and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
It is worth mentioning that Sa’ad is the brother of Mujahed Nimir Al-Froukh, 32, whom Israeli gunmen killed on October 8 while working in Israel, and his family kept looking for him until Thursday, November 9, when they were officially informed of his death.
The soldiers also killed their cousin Mohammad Omar Al-Froukh, 16, whom Israeli soldiers killed Monday in occupied Jerusalem.
The latest attacks bring the number of slain Palestinians by Israeli fire in 24 hours in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, to eight, while 163 Palestinians have been killed since October 7.
It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday at dawn, the Israeli army abducted at least 22 Palestinians, including one journalist, in several parts of the Hebron governorate, who were among 56 Palestinians the soldiers abducted from their homes across the occupied West Bank.
In the Gaza Strip, the army continued to fire missiles and shells at homes and medical centers in Gaza, bringing the number of slain Palestinians since October 7 to 10,010, and the wounded to more than 27,000. 70% of the casualties in Gaza are women and children.
