Israeli soldiers abducted, Friday, seven young Palestinian men in Sa’ir town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and injured two near Nablus, in northern West Bank.
Local sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded the Rajem an-Naqa area, in the meadow of Sa’ir town, before abducting seven farmers, identified as Mohammad Ahmad Jabarin, Jalal Issa Jabarin, Luay Mohammad Jabarin, Raed Abdul-Rauf Jabarin, Tayyim Abdul-Rauf Jabarin, Mahmoud Mousa Jabarin, and Mohannad Monjid Jabarin.
The soldiers took the seven abducted Palestinians to a nearby military base; there were no protests in the area and the residents were just working on their lands.
In addition, media sources in Nablus said dozens of Palestinians held a procession in Osarin village, south of the city before the soldiers attacked them with rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department at the Nablus branch of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the medics provided treatment to two Palestinians, who suffered mild wounds.
In related news, the Israeli soldier injured four Palestinians and caused dozens to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation, in Kufur Qaddoum and Azzoun towns, east of the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, during the weekly processions.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian physician, identified as Dr. Hazem al-Jolani, 50, near Bab al-Asbat, one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
