The Israeli army bombed, on Tuesday evening, four resistance observation sites in the Gaza Strip, east of Jabalia and Gaza City, in northern Gaza, and east of Rafah, in the southern part of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Media sources said that Israeli drones, combat helicopters, and tanks, targeted at least four observation sites associated with the Hamas resistance movement, in the northern and southern parts of Gaza.

A combat helicopter fired missiles, and tanks fired artillery shells, at three military observation posts, east of Gaza City, and Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

East of Rafah, in southern Gaza, a military drone (unmanned aerial vehicle), targeted another military observation post, associated with the Palestinian resistance movement.

Reports added that the sites sustained damage, but no human casualties as a result of the attacks.

An Israeli army spokesman said, in a statement that, “An army drone attacked a Hamas military site, located in the Rafah area, where violent confrontations are taking place near the border fence in the Gaza Strip.”

He added that an army combat helicopter and a tank were employed in the bombing of “two additional Hamas military sites” in Gaza, and claimed that gunfire was directed at soldiers from the targeted areas.

Israeli occupation forces have targeted several resistance sites in the tiny coastal enclave, for five consecutive days, resulting in the injury of one Palestinian young man, on September 22, 2023.
