On Friday, Israeli soldiers abducted twenty-two Palestinians, including children, and assaulted many, in several parts of the occupied West Bank, among them 15 near Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

Media sources said the soldiers abducted fifteen Palestinians, including three children, at the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque while leaving the holy site.

The sources added that Israeli soldiers and police officers assaulted dozens of worshipers who tried to reach the holy site at dawn and prevented anyone below 40 years of age from entering the holy site.

The soldiers attacked many street vendors near the various gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Several army jeeps also invaded the Ar-Ram town, north of Jerusalem, leading to protests, and fired many gas bombs, concussion grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets.

In the southern part of the West Bank in Hebron, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, Allam Yousef Za’aqeeq, Yousef Bader Awad, and Firas Ibrahim Abu Mariya, from Beit Ummar town, north of the city.

The soldiers also abducted two teenage boys, Mohammad Hussein Badawi, and Hotheifa Ra’ey, in the Al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron and stormed several homes before attacking many Palestinians, including women and children.

In Yatta town, south of Hebron, the soldiers abducted a young man, Hisham Abu Zahra, from his home.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Shehada, 17, from Jericho city in the northeastern West Bank, after stopping him at a military roadblock east of Ramallah in the central West Bank.

In related news, illegal Israeli colonizers attacked many Palestinian cars near Kidumim colony, between Qalqilia and Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
