On Friday evening, a paramilitary Israeli colonizer injured five Palestinians near the main entrance of Beita town, south of Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Ahmad Jibril, the head of the Emergency Department of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Nablus, said the colonizer shot five Palestinians with live fire.
One of the wounded young men was shot with two live rounds in the abdomen before he was rushed to Rafidia hospital in Nablus, suffering serious wounds.
Four other Palestinians were shot in the legs, suffering moderate wounds; two were moved to the Najah University Hospital, and two to Rafidia Hospital.
Palestine TV said the area witnessed massive protests that Israeli soldiers attacked with live fire, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs before the army withdrew.
Minutes later, a paramilitary colonizer stopped his car in the middle of the road, stepped out, and used his pistol to fire many live rounds at the Palestinians, wounding the five, before speeding away.
