On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted twenty-one Palestinians, including a teenage girl, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

In Bethlehem, the soldiers abducted Bakr Qawwar after storming and ransacking his home in the city, and also invaded the Deheishe refugee camp south of Bethlehem, searched several homes, and abducted Mahmoud Jalham and Ahmad Jalham.

Many army vehicles also invaded Doha town, southwest of Bethlehem, and withdrew later without conducting any arrests.

In Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, the soldiers invaded the Al-Baq’a area east of the city, searched homes, causing damage, and abducted a teenage girl, Saja Abdul-Rahman Jaber, 17.

It is worth mentioning that a day earlier, the soldiers assaulted and injured Saja for protesting the demolition of two homes owned by her family.

The soldiers also invaded and violently searched the home of Adam Al-Hroub in Deir Samet town, south of Hebron, and confiscated his car.

In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers searched several homes and abducted Hussein Ali Zamari, 29.

The soldiers also invaded Ya’bad town, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, stormed and ransacked many homes, and interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Ali Mohammad Bani Odah, 43, from Tammoun town, south of Tubas, in the northeastern West Bank, after stopping him at a military roadblock south of Tulkarem, in the northern West Bank.

The army also invaded Wadi Al-Far’a village, south of Tubas, and searched the home of Mohammad Hafeth Salahat.

Furthermore, dozens of soldiers invaded the Qalandia refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, and ransacked dozens of homes before abducting fifteen Palestinians, identified as Osama Na’im Hamad, Ali Hamad, Shafiq Awwad, Mo’tasem Awwad Hamsho, Adham Awwad, Eyad Emteir, Ahmad Emteir, Kamal Abu Ghweila, Ali Ibrahim Zayed, Karim Abu Latifa, Ehab Abu Latifa, Adam Badran, Mustafa Al-Jouri, Mohammad Salah Al-Jouri, and Ramzi Aslan, the son of Samir Awni Harbi Aslan, 41, who Israeli soldiers killed at dawn in the refugee camp.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the army abducted more than 170 Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank in the first twelve days of January.

On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers killed Sanad Mohammad Othman Samamra, 19, after he reportedly stabbed and moderately injured an Israeli colonialist settler near Havat Yehuda illegal colony built on stolen Palestinian lands in Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

Also Wednesday, The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that a seriously injured young man, Ahmad Amer Abu Jneid, 21, whom Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured earlier in Balata refugee camp, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, has succumbed to his wounds.

The number of Palestinians whom Israeli soldiers killed in the first twelve days of this year, 2023, is now seven.

Besides Samir, Sanad, and Ahmad, the soldiers killed Fu’ad Mohammad ‘Abed, 17, from Kafr Dan near Jenin, and Mohammad Samer Houshiyya, 22, from Al-Yamoun near Jenin, Amer Abu Zeitoun, 16, from Nablus, and Adam Essam Ayyad, 15, from Bethlehem.
