On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted eighteen Palestinians, including the brother of a detainee who died from medical neglect in Israeli prisons, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources in Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers stormed and ransacked several homes in the city and abducted Mojahed Mabrouka from the Northern Mountain, Omar Ash-Shami from the Al-Makhfiyya area, and Ameed Teryaqi from the Al-Etihad area, in the city.
The soldiers also abducted a young man, Karam Mansour, while crossing the Za’tara military roadblock south of Nablus.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes in the Al-Am’ari refugee camp and abducted two former political prisoners, Fadi Atiya and Rami Ghazi Eid.
The soldiers also abducted Jihad Abu Hmeid, the brother of Nasser Abu Hmeid, 50, who died at an Israeli medical center, on December 20, 2022, from cancer that went untreated professionally during his many years of imprisonment by Israel.
In Turmus Ayya town, north of Ramallah searched a few homes and abducted Mo’ath Jabara.
In Salfit, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mohammad Omar Abdul-Razeq, from his home in the city, and Yahia Harb, from his home in Iskaka village, east of the city.
Also Monday dawn, the soldiers abducted eight Palestinians, six from Bethlehem, including four construction workers and two from Hebron.
Media sources said the soldiers invaded and searched many homes in Bethlehem city, south of occupied Jerusalem, before abducting Mohammad Ahmad Abed-Rabbo and former political prisoner Mohammad As’ad Faraj, in their twenties.
The sources added that the soldiers invaded Za’tara town, east of Bethlehem, and abducted four construction workers heading to their work, identified as Qussai Raed Maharma, Sanad Ahmad Eeda, Mohammad Jamil Zawahra, and Mo’men Ismael Mheisin.
In Hebron city, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Nour Abu Aisha, 35, from his home, in addition to Mohammad Abdul-Mo’ti Ghatasha, 21, from the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the city.
Furthermore, the soldiers killed two Palestinians, injured eight, and abducted at least one in Kafr Dan town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
