Israeli soldiers stormed, on Sunday, Sa’ir town, northeast of Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank, provoking confrontations between Palestinian students and the occupation army, according to witnesses.

Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) that soldiers invaded the town, which elicited confrontations, resulting in the detention of 5 students and the suffocation of several others due to tear gas inhalation.

The army fired live rounds and tear gas canisters at the students, causing many to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas.

The five detained students were identified as; Jamal Jaradat, Saber Jaradat, Mohammad Arafat Jaradat, Yousef Jaradat, and Nizar Jaradat.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers detained two brothers, aged 14 and 15, from their home in Kafr Malek village, east of Ramallah city in central West Bank, WAFA reported.

Furthermore, local sources reported that occupation soldiers invaded, on Sunday evening, the Sateh Marhaba neighborhood in al-Biereh city in central West Bank.

The army opened fire towards the Palestinian civilians with rubber-coated steel rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters.

No injuries were noted at the time of this report.

On Sunday at dawn, Israeli soldiers stormed homes and abducted seven Palestinians in Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The detained Palestinians were identified as; Mohammad Yousef Jaradat, Mahmoud Ghaleb Jaradat, Omar Ahmad Jaradat, and his brother Gheith, Ibrahim Mousa Tahaina, Taher Suleiman Abu Salah and Abdul-Rahman Saleh Yacoub.
