Israeli soldiers shot, on Wednesday evening, two young Palestinian men and abducted one of them, after the army invaded the southern area of Ya’bad town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the town, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, and gas bombs.

They added that the soldiers shot two Palestinians with live rounds in their legs, causing moderate wounds, before abducting one of them, identified as Khaled Ashraf Abu Bakr.

The second injured Palestinian was rushed by Palestinian medics to a hospital in Jenin; sources at the hospital said his condition is stable.

It is worth mentioning that the soldiers stopped and prevented many Palestinian ambulances from entering the town.
