Israeli soldiers invaded Sunday, the family home of a Palestinian who was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in occupied Jerusalem, Saturday, and abducted his brother.

Media sources said the soldiers invaded Salfit, in the central West Bank, before storming and ransacking the home of Mohammad Shawkat Salima, 25, and abducted his brother, Ahmad.

The sources added that the soldiers detained and interrogated the entire family for several hours in their home, before abducting Ahmad.

The soldiers also fired several gas bombs and concussion grenades around the property, to prevent the residents from reaching it.

It is worth mentioning that Mohammad was killed, Saturday, by Israeli soldiers in Bab al-‘Amoud area in the occupied capital, Jerusalem.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Marah Rabah village, south of Bethlehem, and abducted Hamza Khalil Taqatqa, 20, after storming his family’s home and ransacking it.

The soldiers also abducted a young woman, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, after stopping her in the Bab al-Amoud area, in Jerusalem.

In Pre-Dawn Raids Sunday, Israeli Forces Abduct 4 Palestinians

On Sunday morning before dawn, Israeli troops invaded several parts of the occupied West Bank, ransacking homes, interrogating local residents, and abducting four Palestinians and taking them to unknown destinations.

In the town of Salfit, in the northern West Bank, Israeli troops raided the family home of Mohammad Salima, whom they had killed on Saturday.

The soldiers ransacked the home, destroying property and damaging furniture. They interrogated Mohammed’a parents and siblings, then took his brother Ahmad to an unknown location for further so-called ‘enhanced interrogation’.

Israel’s practice of torturing Palestinians and calling it ‘enhanced interrogation’ has been condemned by the international community, including several United Nations Resolutions calling on Israel to stop torturing Palestinians, and to stop the practice of holding Palestinians as prisoners for months and years with no charges.

In addition to the invasion of Salfit town, Israeli forces invaded the village of Kafr Ni’ma in the district of Ramallah and abducted two Palestinians who were asleep in their beds. The troops knocked down the doors of the two Palestinian-owned homes, forced them from their beds at gunpoint, and took them to an unknown destination.

The two men were identified as Jihad Abu Adi and Saji Ataya.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli troops invaded Marah Rabah village in the Bethlehem district, and abducted a teenager identified as Hamza Taqateqa.

In the northern West Bank overnight, in the Jabal Mokabber area, Israeli troops attacked Palestinian protesters trying to stop the takeover of the mountain by illegal Israeli colonizers. Palestinian youth threw firecrackers toward the soldiers. No injuries were reported.

Finally, in Jerusalem, Israeli troops abducted a young man from the Bab al-Amud area in the Old City of Jerusalem. He has not yet been identified.
