Israeli soldiers abducted, Saturday, three young Palestinian men from Jerusalem, Ramallah and Hebron, in the occupied West Bank, during invasions targeting many communities in the occupied territory.
Media sources in Jerusalem said many soldiers invaded the Qalandia refugee camp, north of the city, before storming and searching homes.
They added that the soldiers abducted a young man, identified as Ahmad Ezzat Hazeen, from his home, after ransacking the property during the violent search.
The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired gas bombs and rubber-coated steel bullets; no injuries were reported.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-Am’ari refugee camp, south of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and abducted Samer Habboub, after invading his home and ransacking it, causing damage.
Several army jeeps also invaded the Um ash-Sharayet neighborhood in the al-Biereh nearby city, leading to protests.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Surif town, northwest of the city, violently searched homes, causing damage, and abducted Abdul-Rahman Hmeidat, 29.
The soldiers smashed the main door of Hmeidat’s home before storming the property; the abducted Palestinian is also a former political prisoner who was repeatedly detained and imprisoned by Israel.
