Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, sixteen Palestinians, including two siblings, and former political prisoners, from their homes, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
Mousa Hamayel, the Mayor of Beita town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, said dozens of soldiers invaded the town before storming and ransacking many homes, causing damage.
He added that the soldiers abducted eleven Palestinians, identified as Hamdi Maali, Yousef Shorafa, Adham Shorafa, Rashed Qawareeq, Ramez Qawareeq, Qassam Odeili, Emad Daoud, Bayan Daoud, Omar Daoud, Na’im Taleb, and Yousef Hamayel.
It is worth mentioning that Ramez Qawareeq and Omar Daoud were shot and injured by Israeli army fire during previous invasions into the community.
In Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded and searched homes, before abducting three young men, including a former political prisoner.
The Tulkarem office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society said the soldiers abducted Ahmad Amjad Odah, 22, his brother Ra’ed, 21, from the southern neighborhood of Tulkarem city, in addition to a former political prisoner, identified as Khaled Adnan Atiya az-Zibda, 28, from his home in Shweika suburb, north of the city.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Teqoua’ town, east of Bethlehem, south of the occupied Palestinian capital Jerusalem in the West Bank, searched a few homes, and abducted Abed Adel Awadallah al-‘Amour, 27.
In addition, the soldiers injured a young Palestinian man and abducted another, identified as Bader Awad al-Ayedi, 34 in the al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in northeastern West Bank.
