Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, seventeen Palestinians, including siblings, from several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.

The PPS office in Hebron, in southern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted Ala’ Shaker al-Hadoush, 30, Mohammad Mahmoud Ghneimat, and Emad Bader Ekhlayyel, 40, after stopping them at the al-Jab’a military roadblock, west of Surif town, northwest of Hebron.

It added that the soldiers invaded and ransacked several homes in the southern area of Hebron city, before abducting Ahed Awni Jaber and his brother Anan.

The soldiers also invaded Doura town, south of Hebron, and searched the homes of Nayef Rajoub and Ziad Rajoub, causing damage.

In Beit Ummar town, northwest of Hebron, the soldiers invaded the home of Mohammad Ibrahim Bahar, and violently searched it, before summoning him for interrogation.

In the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Ma’moun Farhan from Shu’fat refugee camp, and Mohammad Sa’ada Sa’id, from Hizma town, after breaking into their homes and violently searching them, causing excessive damage.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Sanad Sufian Khamaisa and Mohmmad Farad Sammoudi, from their homes in the al-Yamoun town, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Eyewitnesses in al-Yamoun said protests took place in many neighborhoods after the army invaded them, especially when the soldiers started breaking into homes and ransacking them.

The army also interrogated and detained many Palestinians in the town, especially former political prisoners, and released them later.

In Tubas, in northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Faze’ Sawafta, and Abada Shafiq al-Kharraz, from their homes in the city, in addition to Hasan Amer, from Taiseer village, east of Tubas.

In Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Moath Suman, 31, from the Saff Street in the center of the city, in addition to Ahmad Sa’id Sabah, 23, and Salah Mousa Sabah, 23, from Harmala village, east of the city.
