Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, ten Palestinians, including three former political prisoners and two women, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.
The PPS said the soldiers invaded Betunia town, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and abducted a Palestinian woman, identified as Khitam Sa’afin, the head of the Union of Palestinian Women’s Committees, after breaking into her home and violently searching it.
The soldiers also invaded the al-Biereh city, near Ramallah, and abducted a female university student, identified as Shatha Tawil, from her home.
Another Palestinian, identified as Ahmad Abu Ra’ey, was abducted from his home in Ramallah city.
In Qalqilia, in northern West Bank, the soldiers searched many homes and abducted a former political prisoner, identified as Shaher Ali ar-Ra’ey, 50, in addition to Ahmad Mohammad ar-Ra’ey.
In Tulkarem, also in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, identified as Mohammad Qassem Jawabra, 55, from Izbat al-Jarad village, southeast of Tulkarem, in addition to Jamal Jamil Barham, 60, from Ramin town, east of the city.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Akram Abdul-Karim al-As’ad, from his home in Kifl Hares town, west of Salfit, in central West Bank.
Another Palestinian, identified as Nasri Abu Kreisha Nawawra, was abducted from his home in Fasayel village, northwest of Jericho in northeastern West Bank.
