Israeli troops abducted, on Monday, several Palestinian residents from different areas of the occupied West Bank, Palestinian media sources reported.

In the southern West Bank district of Hebron, Palestinian Official News Agency (WAFA) reported that Israeli soldiers invaded the homes of both, Ramzi Al-Haymouni, and Yazid Abu Aisha, 24, before abducting them.

The detention of the two Palestinians came after Israeli troops intensified their presence at the northern entrance of Hebron city, as well as the entrances of, Beit Ummar, S’aeer and Halhoul neighborhoods.

In Jenin city, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted three former Palestinian prisoners, identified as Ahmad Mardawi, Hassan Abu Salah, and Jaafar Fawzi Abu Salah.

In the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, the Israeli army abducted two more former prisoners, including Mahmoud Ayyad of the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, Mustafa Kamel, from Beit Jala town, west of Bethlehem city.

The former prisoners were arrested, while they were heading for their workplaces in the nearby central West Bank Palestinian-Arab city of East Jerusalem.

The abduction of Ayyad in the Dheisheh refugee camp, sparked a local Palestinian protest against the Israeli invasion of the refugee camp, and the abduction of the aforementioned resident.

The Palestinian Information Center reported that Israeli forces ransacked many Palestinian homes in Hebron, and confiscated the cell phone and laptop of Ayyad after ransacking his home in the Dheisheh camp near Bethlehem.

Witnesses said that Israeli troops fired volleys of tear-gas canisters to disperse the crowds. No causalities were reported.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) confirmed that even more Palestinian civilians in Bethlehem were detained, identified as, Muhammad Asaad Nawwarah, Hudhayfah Yasser Abiyat, Muhammad Salem Sabah.

In the Jericho district, eastern West Bank, Israeli forces detained Jamal Adnan Khattab.

In the central West Bank city of Jerusalem, a youth identified as, Mu’taz Walid Shweika, 18, from Silwan town, was detained by the Israeli army.

The Israeli forces invaded, and ransacked the home of the youth, Shweika, and confiscated items, including a Palestinian flag.
