Israeli troops abducted, on Saturday morning, two Palestinians from the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Local Palestinian media sources and witnesses said that Israeli forces invaded Ya’bad village, west of Jenin city and stormed the homes of Mohammad B’ajawi and Adham Omar, 25, before abducting the youths, taking them to an unknown location.
Noteworthy, Israeli troops have abducted 55 Palestinian residents from the Ya’bad village, over the past two months, with frequent military invasions into the village.
Staff Sargent in the Israeli military, Amit Ben Ygal, 21, died after he was hit in the head with a rock, on May 12, in Ya’bad village, which triggered the escalation of the Israeli military’s campaign of nightly invasions and abductions.
The Israeli forces, on Friday, abducted a Palestinian former-detainee at a military roadblock in the central occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) confirmed that Shadi Mahmoud, a former detainee in Israeli prison, was detained at a flying military roadblock between Nablus city in the north, and Ramallah city, central West Bank.
A Palestinian young man was assaulted and then detained, on Thursday, when the Israeli army suppressed a non-violent march against Israeli settlement activities north of Nablus city, in Asira ash-Shamaliya, northern occupied West Bank.
Earlier Thursday, Israeli police forces detained three Palestinian young men from their homes in Ramallah and Jerusalem.
