Israeli soldiers abducted, on Thursday at dawn, at least eight Palestinians, including one child and two former political prisoners, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.

The PPS said the soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes across the West Bank, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards, in addition to summoning one former political prisoner for interrogation.

The PPS office in Bethlehem, south of occupied Jerusalem, said the soldiers abducted Samer al-Qaisi, 22, and Hamza Mohammad al-Jarashi, 24.

It added that the soldiers also summoned a former political prisoner, identified as Mahmoud Karim Ayyad, for interrogation in Etzion military base and security center, north of Bethlehem.

The soldiers also invaded Kafr al-Lubbad town, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, and abducted Jamal Hafeth Kabaha.

In Qalqilia, in northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Azzoun town, east of the city, and abducted Nahar Omran Hussein, 26, from his home.

In Jenin, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Rafiq Mansour, 28, from his home in ‘Anin village, northwest of the city.

Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Osama Zeid Saleh, from his home in Kifl Hares village, west of the central West Bank city of Salfit.

In Ramallah, in central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Osama Nathir Hamed, 18, from his home in Silwad town, northeast of the city.

It is worth mentioning that Hamed is a former political prisoner who was only released a month ago after spending ten months in Israeli prisons and detention centers.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-‘Ezariya town, southeast of occupied East Jerusalem, and abducted Fares Ramzi Warni, 16.
