Israeli forces detained at least 51 Palestinians, including a woman and minors, during predawn raids and searches across the occupied West Bank, on Wednesday.
According to Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained nine Palestinians, including a woman, in the southern West Bank district of Hebron.
The detainees were identified as Hassan al-Turq, 30, Khaled Ghuneimat, Iyad Ghuneimat, Kareem Abu Sal, Sayel Abed al-Mahdi Zeidat, Basel Rami al-Wawi, Sami Zughayer, Anwar Zughayer, and Muhammad Nidam al-Atrash.
In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, PPS said that 19 Palestinians were detained, including seven teen girls, from the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and that most of them were released shortly after their detention.
The identity of the 19 detainees remained unknown.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, six Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Hussein Ismail al-Lidadweh, Hafeth Muein Amer, Shafiq Muhammad Musawra, Khaled Musawra, Sultan Hamad al-Amouri, and Muhammad Abu Teir, 68.
In the central West Bank district of Jericho, another two Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Muhammad Kamal Sbeih Kaabnah and Mazen Ahmad Ibrahim Kaabnah.
In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians. They were identified as Sheraa Samouh Hindawi, Nizar Abu Hamad, Laith Mahmoud Hamran, Amin Jamal Qambaa, Sahib Majdi Abu al-Hijaa, and Abed al-Rahman Gaza.
At the Salem military checkpoint, in the same district, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Louay Mahmoud al-Natour, 17.
In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, PPS confirmed that four Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Ahmad Issa Sabri, 16, Asid Firas Abu Lebda, 19, Usama Muein Hussein, 21, Amer Hassan Salameh, 17.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, another four were detained. PPS identified them as Jihad Muhrej Shihadeh, 20, Izz al-Din Abudayyeh, 27, Muaman Nuwaf Radad, 24, and Ali Odeh.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,440 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, including 48 female prisoners, and 209 minors, 46 of whom under 16 years old.

PPS: “Israeli Soldiers Abduct 29 Palestinians In West Bank”

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, twenty-nine Palestinians, including an elected legislator, from several parts of the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
The PPS stated that the soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes across the West Bank, and installed many roadblocks, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated scores of Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
One of the abducted Palestinians is an elected legislator, identified as Mohammad Abu Teir, 67, who is from occupied Jerusalem, but Israel forcibly exiled him from the city in 2011, before he resided in al-Biereh city, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah and al-Biereh.
It is worth mentioning that Abu Teir was forced out of occupied Jerusalem along with the former Jerusalem Minister Khaled Abu Arafa, and two legislators, identified Ahmad Attoun and Mohammad Totah.
Abu Teir is a former political prisoner, who was frequently abducted and detained, spending more than thirty years in Israel prison, and suffers from several chronic health conditions.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Five Palestinians In Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers abducted, on Wednesday at dawn, five young Palestinian men from the al-Isawiya town and the al-Judeira village, in occupied East Jerusalem.
The soldiers invaded and searched many homes in the al-‘Isawiya town, and abducted Majd Ali Ata, Khaled Abu Ghosh, Wasim Dari and Saleh Abu Assab.
Another Palestinian, identified as Bashar Saed Barjas, was abducted from his home in the al-Judeira village, northwest of Jerusalem.
In related news, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic), said that its lawyer, who specialized in the cases of child detainees, said the Israeli police released Ahmad al-Hadra, Mohammad al-Jolani and Rashad Sa’id, after issuing orders barring them from entering the Old City for sixty days.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted three young Palestinian men from Tulkarem governorate in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
In related news, the soldiers abducted six young Palestinian men in Jenin city, and Jenin refugee camp, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
