GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Israeli authorities continue to seal off the Kerem Shalom crossing and banned fishermen from working off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip, for the fourth day in a row, while the Erez (Beit Hanoun) crossing is partially open.
Head of the Palestinian Fishermen Union in Gaza, Zakariya Bakr, said that the Israeli authorities continue to close off the sea for fishermen preventing them from fishing for the fourth day in a row.
Sources at the Palestinian liaison confirmed that they have not received any new directions by the Israeli side regarding the opening of the Kerem Shalom crossing.
Meanwhile, Israel partially opened the Erez crossing to allow patients and blue-ID holders to cross.
Israel imposed closure on the Gaza Strip since Monday in response to rockets launched from Gaza falling in Tel Aviv; Israel also carried out multiple airstrikes targeting different sites and buildings across the Gaza Strip.
