RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 25 Palestinians, including former prisoners, particularly throughout the central occupied West Bank, on predawn Monday.
According to Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained 14 in the central West bank district of Jerusalem. They were identified as Majd Ahmad al-Awar, Mahmoud Najib al-Awar, Nidal Safian al-Natsheh, Tareq Khaled Odeh, Mahdi Yousef Abu Diab, Abed al-Rahim al-Abassi, Tareq al-Abassi, Muhammad Khaled Sharifa, Tawfiq Othman, Amer Abu Isneineh, Hashem Muhammad Hamidan, Muhammad Zahran, Adham Muhammad Hamidan, and Wisam Rabie.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, eight Palestinians were detained. PPS identified them as Muhammad Hadi al-Asmar, Louay Fares Hamad, Ramez Issa Abed Hamad, Firas Mousa Suhayel, Mujahed al-Sheni, Yousef Muhammad al-Dik, Salah Wafiq Bazar, and Haitham Bassam Alqam.
In the central West Bank district of Jericho, one Palestinian was detained and identified as Amar Khaled Muhammad Qatuni.
In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, two former Palestinian prisoners were detained by Israeli forces. They were identified as Ahmad Ziyad Nazzal and Muhammad Rasem Khuzimiye.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,450 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Ten Palestinians In Occupied Jerusalem

Israeli soldiers invaded and violently searched, on Monday at dawn, dozens of homes in occupied Jerusalem, and abducted at least ten Palestinians, in addition to summing one for interrogation.
Media sources said the soldiers interrogated many Palestinians while searching their homes in the towns of al-‘Isawiya, Silwan Biddu and Beit Anan, in addition to the Old City, and inspected their ID cards.
They added that the soldiers abducted Tawfiq Othman, Abdul-Rahim Khalil Abbasi, Nidal Sufian Natsha, Tareq Sa’ada Abbasi, Majd Ahmad al-A’war and Mahmoud Najib al-A’war, from their homes in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Also in Silwan, the soldiers summoned Mohammad Shweiki for interrogation at a military base, in occupied Jerusalem.
The soldiers also abducted Omar Abu Sneina, from the al-‘Isawiya town, while Wisam Hussein Rabea’ was taken prisoner from his home in Beit Anan town, northwest of Jerusalem.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Biddu town, northwest of Jerusalem, and abducted Hashem Hmeidan.
