RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 17 Palestinians, on predawn Monday, across the occupied West Bank.
According to Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained four Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. They were identified as Muhannad Khaled al-Dawda, Talhat Muhammad Zahour, Hamad Fouad Ghuneimat, Abed al-Majid Ali Adi, 30.
In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem, five Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Nadim al-Khatib, Awda Salameh al-Khatib, Hamouda Salim, Ayham Sharifa, and Muaman al-Hashim.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians. PPs identified them as Mousa Ahmad Hamad, Ahmad Hassan Nasser, and Motasem Matir.
In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, five Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Yahya Jamal Najem, Faraj Amer al-Sanouri, Imad al-Din Abu al-Hayja, Muhammad jamal Masoud, and Assem Abed al-Rahman Abu al-Kheir.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,640 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons.

Israeli Soldiers Shoot A Man And Abduct His Son, In Hebron

Israeli soldiers shot, on Monday at dawn, a Palestinian man in his own home, and abducted his son, in Halhoul town, north of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank. The army also abducted four other Palestinians in Hebron and Ramallah.
Media sources in Hebron said the soldiers invaded the home of Khaled Shehda ad-Douda, 50, before searching and ransacking the property and abducted his son, Mohannad.
They added that the soldiers fired live rounds in the home, moderately wounding Khaled’s father in his left leg, before he was rushed to the Hebron governmental hospital.
In addition, the soldiers invaded and searched several homes in Beit Ummar and Beit Kahil towns, near Hebron, and abducted Abdul-Majid Ali ‘Aadi, 30, and Talha Mohammad Zohoor.
The soldiers also installed roadblocks at Hebron’s northern entrances, in addition to Sa’ir and Halhoul town, before stopping and searching dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In related news, the soldiers invaded Kafr Ni’ma village, west of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, and Silwad town, east of the city, searched several homes and abducted Ahmad Hasan Nasr and Ahmad Mousa Hamed.

Soldiers Abduct A Young Man in Jerusalem, Two In Ramallah
Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, the al-Matar neighborhood, north of occupied East Jerusalem, and abducted a young man from his home. The soldiers also detained two young men at the Qalandia terminal, north of Jerusalem, and released them a few hours later, in addition to abducting two young man in Ramallah.
Several armored Israeli army jeeps invaded the al-Matar neighborhood, in front of Qalandia refugee camp, searched homes and abducted a young man, identified as Mo’tasem Mteir.
The soldiers also interrogated several Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards during the invasion.
Furthermore, the soldiers, stationed at the Qalandia terminal, stopped two young men, identified as Rajab No’man Mteir and Rajab Naim Mteir, detained and interrogated them several hours before releasing them.

Israeli Soldiers Abduct Six Palestinians, Including Five Former Political Prisoners In Jenin

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Monday at dawn, six Palestinians, including five former political prisoners from their homes in Jenin governorate, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS said the soldiers searched many homes and abducted Faraj Omar Sanouri and Yahia Najm, from their homes in the as-Sikka and al-Bayader neighborhoods in Jenin city.
It added that the soldiers also abducted Emadeddin Jamal Abu al-Haija, from his home in Jenin refugee camp.
Several army jeeps also invaded Barta’a town, west of Jenin, searched homes and abducted Mohammad Jamal Masoud.
Another former political prisoner, identified as Assem Abdul-Rahman Abu al-Kheir, was abducted from his home in Silat al-Harithiya town, northwest of Jenin.
In related news, the soldiers abducted a young man, identified as Majd Abu an-Nada, from his home in Jabal Abu Dheir in Jenin city.
In addition, the soldiers invaded the al-Matar neighborhood, north of occupied East Jerusalem, and abducted a young man from his home.
The soldiers also detained two young men at the Qalandia terminal, north of Jerusalem, and released them a few hours later, in addition to abducting two young man in Ramallah.
