sraeli soldiers abducted, overnight and at dawn Wednesday, 24 Palestinians, from several parts of the occupied West Bank, including 15 from Tulkarem, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported.
The Tulkarem office of the PPS, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers conducted very violent searches of many homes, causing serious property damage, especially when the soldiers damaged furniture and removed tiles during the invasions.
It added that the soldiers abducted fifteen Palestinians, mainly from Shweika area, including one woman, identified as:
Majeda at-Teeni.
Rabea’ Mohammad Abu Rabea’a.
Kamal al-Badu.
Mahmoud al-Badu.
Suleiman Azzam Abu Sheikha.
Hassan Azzam Abu Sheikha.
Tareq Zeid.
Na’el ‘Oweiss.
Ahmad Qozah.
Aws ‘Obeid.
Karam Marwan Dheiliyya.
Mohammad Ahmad Dheiliyya.
Moath Mohammad Dheiliyya.
Mohammad Emad Naqouri.

It is worth mentioning that Shweika area has been under a strict siege, and ongoing violent invasions and searches of homes, in addition to many abductions among its residents, since the fatal shooting at an Israeli colony, last Sunday west of Salfit.
The army abducted many family members of the reported shooter, Ashraf Na’alwa, during ongoing attempts to arrest him, and also decided to demolish the family home.
Waleed, Ashraf’s father, is the latest family member to be abducted by the soldiers, who also frequently interrogated his entire family, and repeatedly invaded and ransacked their homes.
The fatal shooting led to the death of two Israelis, identified as Kim Levengrond Yehezkel, 28, from Rosh HaAyin, and Ziv Hagbi, 35, from Rishon LeZion.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Jihad Mahmoud Manasra, Yazan Mohammad Abu Zeid and Hazem Mahmoud Abdul-Khaleq, from their homes in Jericho.
In Qalqilia, in northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Bara’ Yousef, 17, after stopping him at a military roadblock.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Amro Sleibi, Sayyaf Ibrahim Asafra and Yazan Ahmad Asafra, from Beit Ummar and Beit Kahil towns.

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 24 Palestinians, including a minor and a woman, on predawn Wednesday, across the occupied West Bank.
According to Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS), Israeli forces detained three Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, they were identified as Amr al-Sleibi, Saif Ibrahim Asafra and Yazan Ahmad Asafra.
In the central West Bank district of Jericho, three Palestinians were detained; they were identified as Jihad Mahmoud Munasra, Yazan Muhammad Abu Zeid, Hazem Mahmoud Abed al-Khaliq.
In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, one Palestinian was detained near an Israeli military checkpoint and identified as Baraa Youssef, 17.
In the northern West Bank district of Nablus, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians; PPS identified them as Yahiya Adnan Samhan, 23, and Muhammad Imad al-Shakhshir, 19.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulakrem, PPS confirmed that Israeli forces carried out raids throughout various areas of the district and detained 15 Palestinians, including one woman.
They were identified as Majida al-Tini, Rabie Muhammad Abu Rabia, Kamal al-Bado, Mahmoud al-Bado, Suleiman Izzam Abu Sheikha, Hassan Azzam Abu Sheikha, Tariq Zeid, Nael Awad, Ahmad Qawazah, Awas Obeid, Karam Marwan Dahiliya, Muath Muhammad Dahiliya, Muhammad Imad Naquri and Walid Suleiman Abu Sheikha, 57, who is the father of Ashraf Naawla, who had carried out a shooting attack, killing two Israeli settlers and injuring a third.
Israeli search and detention raids are a nightly occurrence in Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
According to prisoners rights group Addameer, there are 5,781 Palestinian prisoners being held in Israeli prisons, of whom 65 are female prisoners and 270 are child prisoners, of whom 50 are under the age of 16 years.
