RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Six Palestinians were injured, on Sunday evening, during violent clashes with Israeli forces in the central occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
A Ma'an reporter said that large numbers of heavily armed Israeli forces raided the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in Ramallah City, blocked several roads leading to the area before surrounding a local residential building and preventing the residents from any movement.
Violent clashes erupted between Palestinians and Israeli forces afterwards; Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear-gas bombs towards residents.
Two of the six injured were shot by rubber-coated steel bullets, while the other four suffered tear-gas inhalation.
Among the the injured was a Palestinians cameraman working for Reuters News Agency, identified as Muhammad Turkman; he was shot in the leg.
Israeli forces reportedly also detained two Palestinian men along with a woman during clashes; their identity remained unknown.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also pulled over dozens of school buses, full of Palestinian students and forced the drivers to turn off their engines for more than an hour.
Israeli raids into Palestinian cities, towns, and refugee camps in the West Bank and East Jerusalem are a near daily occurrence.
