GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian was injured, late Thursday, during an Israeli airstrike over the eastern besieged Gaza Strip.
A Ma'an reporter said that an Israeli warplane targeted, by at least one missile, a group of Palestinian youths in eastern Gaza.
Local sources confirmed that a Palestinian, whose identity was not immediately identified, was injured during the Israeli airstrike and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
He reportedly suffered moderate injuries.
A Hebrew-language news outlet reported that an Israeli warplane fired towards a group of Palestinians near the eastern borders of Gaza.
Meanwhile, at least six Palestinians were injured in Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, by Israeli live ammunition.
A Ma'an reporter said that Israeli forces fired live bullets at hundreds of Palestinians youths, who were approaching the Israeli security border fence, injuring six of them.
The six injured Palestinians were transferred to the Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza to receive medical treatment.
Their medical condition remained unknown.
Sources added that large groups of Palestinians continued to be present in various areas along the eastern Gaza border with Israel; groups launched fireworks towards Israeli forces, set a number of tires on fire and launched several incendiary balloons toward the border.
