HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man along with his wife and son, on predawn Thursday, after raiding their home in the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
According to local sources, Israeli forces raided the home of Palestinian former prisoner, Jamal Karameh and detained him along with his wife, Hanaa Misk and their son Jamil Karameh.
Israeli forces assaulted the rest of Karameh's family members during the raid.
Sources added that prior to Karameh's detention, Israeli forces broke down the front door of his home and thoroughly searched it.
Israeli raids in Palestinian cities, towns and refugee camps are a daily occurrence.
According to Palestinian prisoners rights group Addameer, as of September, there are 5781 Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons, 65 of them are female prisoners, and 270 child prisoners; 50 of the child prisoners are under the age of 16.
