HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces shot and injured two Palestinian youths on Monday night during raids in the village of Beit Ummar in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron.
Local sources told Ma'an that Israeli forces fired live ammunition towards two Palestinian youths during a raid to the village.
Sources said that a 17-year-old Palestinian, who was identified as Saif Ahmad Radwan Akhlil, was shot with live ammunition in the thigh and the chest.
Another Palestinian youth, who was not immediately identified, was injured in his hand by a shrapnel and a rubber-coated steel bullet in his chest.
Both of the injured Palestinians were immediately transferred to a hospital in Hebron City for treatment.
During the raid, Israeli forces broke into a Palestinian home in the village and thoroughly searched it; the home belongs to Muhammad Ahmad Ismail Aadi, 60.
Israeli forces then detained four Palestinians were from the village; they were identified as brothers Muhammad and Diaa Farouq Aadi, Majd Ismail Aadi and Ghazi Muhammad Aadi.
