Description
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli bulldozers demolished two Palestinian-owned homes on Tuesday in the Qalansuwa city in central Israel, under armed security by Israeli police and special forces.
Locals said that while Israeli bulldozers began the demolition of the two homes, Israeli police surrounded the area and prevented people from approaching.
Sources added that the homes were demolished under the pretext of being built without the difficult-to-obtain Israeli-issued construction permits.
The houses belonged to the Wardeh Palestinian family.
The Wardeh family mentioned that Israeli authorities gave no prior notice of the demolition.
Nearly all Palestinian applications for building permits are denied by the Israeli authorities, forcing communities to build illegally.
