BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least 13 Palestinians during predawn raids across the occupied West Bank on Tuesday morning.
In the Dheisheh refugee camp in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, two Palestinians were detained by Israeli forces and identified as Ismail Ramadan and Muhammad Adawi.
Following this, clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli forces in Dheisheh injuring one Israeli soldier by stone throwing.
In the same district, in the villages of Beit Fajjar and Tuqu, two Palestinians were detained; locals identified them as Mahmoud al-Umour, 16, and Mahmoud Salim Thawabteh, 20.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, another two Palestinians were detained and identified by locals as former prisoner Maher Shreiteh and Udayy Haitham.
Israeli forces detained one Palestinian from the northern West Bank district of Nablus; he was identified as Muhammad al-Madani.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, Israeli forces detained and identified three Palestinians as Ahmad al-Khateeb from Tulkarem City, Omar Khalil Ammar from Qaffin and Muhammad Sabri Tammuni from Deir al-Ghusun.
Palestinian prisoners rights group Addameer reported that as of April, there are 5,900 Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, at least thirteen Palestinians, and injured one, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
Media sources in Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers shot a young man in Qaffin town, north of the city, during protests against the invasion.
The soldiers also invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, and attacked many protesters.
In addition, the soldiers attacked and injured Qassem Salim, 25, after invading his home and ransacking it in Azzoun town, east of Qalqilia, in northern West Bank.
In Hebron, in southern West Bank, the soldiers invaded many neighborhoods in the city, and installed roadblocks at its northern entrance, in addition to Sa’ir and Halhoul towns, before stopping and searching dozes of cars.
The soldiers invaded and searched dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank, interrogated many Palestinians and abducted thirteen, identified as:
