BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained 11 Palestinians during predawn raids on Tuesday in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said that forces detained 11 Palestinians. Only nine of the detainees have been identified.
Two of the detainees were women, and were identified by PPS as Alaa Hatem Hafez Fakha, 24, from the Tulkarem-area town of Kafr al-Lubad in the northern West Bank, and Fida Muhammad Damez Ahlil, 23, from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Also in the Hebron district, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man, who was identified as Muhammad Khalil Mokhareze, from the town of of al-Dhahiriya.
In the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, two Palestinians were detained and identified as Mahmoud Taleb Njajre, and former prisoner Saleh Mahmoud Shakarne.
In the central West Bank district of Ramallah, PPS identified another detainee as Abdallah Ibrahim Al-Tamimi, 22, from the Deir Nitham village
Clashes erupted with local Palestinian youth when Israeli forces raided the Salfit district, also in the central West Bank, and detained one Palestinian. PPS identified him as Fawzi al-Zair.
Two Palestinians were detained in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank, and were identified by PPS as Tareq Raed Suidan, 19, and Aseed Abd al-Kader Suidan, 23.
According to Palestinian prisoners rights group Addameer, as of April, there were 6,036 Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons, including 63 women and an estimate of 304 children.

Soldiers Abduct A Young Woman, Illegally Confiscate Cash And Damage Car, In Tulkarem

Several Israeli army jeeps invaded, Tuesday, Kafr al-Lubbad village, east of the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem, searched many homes, and abducted a young woman in addition to illegally confiscating 10.000 Shekels from the family and damaging their car.
Hatem Fuqaha’, said the soldiers abducted his daughter Alaa’, 24, after interrogating her and the family while violently searching their home.
The father added that the soldiers also illegally confiscated 10.000 Shekels from his home, and damaged his car, which was parked in front of his property.
In addition, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday at dawn, six young Palestinian men from their homes in the West Bank governorates of Qalqilia, Salfit and Bethlehem, and injured a recovering patient after assaulting him in his home.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded several areas in the governorate, searched homes and abducted two Palestinians, including a woman who is also a former political prisoner.
